Manuel F. Esparza, Sr. of San Antonio, Texas went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 2, 2016.
He was born in Driscoll, Texas on August 5, 1946 Israel and Manuela Esparza of Driscoll, Texas. He
attended Bishop High School in Bishop, Texas and received his Associates degree from St. Phillips College
in San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of the Missionary of Mercy.

Manuel joined The United States Air Force in June 1966 and proudly served our country during the Vietnam

Manuel F. Esparza, Sr. of San Antonio, Texas went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 2, 2016.
He was born in Driscoll, Texas on August 5, 1946 Israel and Manuela Esparza of Driscoll, Texas. He
attended Bishop High School in Bishop, Texas and received his Associates degree from St. Phillips College
in San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of the Missionary of Mercy.

Manuel joined The United States Air Force in June 1966 and proudly served our country during the Vietnam
War. He left active duty only to join the Air Force Reserves, serving with the 433rd Squadron at Kelly Air Force
Base in San Antonio, Texas. As Crew Chief, he flew with C-130 Aircraft and had about 1000 flying hours. He
went on several overseas tours. He retired in April 1992 with 24 years of Military Service. He also retired as Aircraft Manager from civil service at Kelly Air Force Base in 1999 having served 31 years.

He and his wife traveled all of the United States, Canada, and Mexico in their motor home. They made many wonderful friends while traveling. They were members of three motor home clubs. Those clubs are: The Lone Star Allegros, The Demontrond Travelers, and the WWWs (Wamblin Webel Wowsers).

His memory lives on in his wife, Maria Consuelo Esparza; Son, Manuel Esparza, Jr.; Daughter, Corina Esparza (Joe); Beloved Granddaughters, Larissa Esparza and Arianna Esparza. All are from San Antonio, Texas. Brothers, Israel Esparza (Ida) of Driscoll, Texas; Robert Esparza (Sylvia) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Sisters, Teresa Green (Joe) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Oralia Esparza, Alicia Longoria (Mauro) and Norma Sherman (Frank) all from San Antonio, Texas. He had many nieces and nephews.

Manuel will reunite with his Parents, Israel and Manuela Esparza and Nephews: Joel Esparza, Jimmy Green, and Oscar Esparza.

A Memorial Service, with a celebration of the wonderful life Manuel lived, will be at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Sunset North Funeral Chapel, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas.

Interment to be followed at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 am in San Antonio, Texas.
